The L2EP laboratory was founded in 1989 under the impetus of four partner institutions: Université des Sciences et Technologies de Lille, Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Ecole Centrale de Lille, and Hautes Etudes d’Ingénieur (HEI). The joint venture “Nidec PSA emotors”, created by the PSA Group and Nidec, is launching the design of its future electric motors. It will develop a range of electric motors for use in electric vehicles (mild hybrids, rechargeable hybrids and electric cars).

The goal is to meet the PSA Group’s needs as well as those of other car makers.

With 20 years of experience, Mov’NTec develops and produces customised solutions on an industrial scale for projects in the urban mobility, industry and energy fields. Located in the Hauts-de-France region, the company has a 15,000-m² production site and 140 employees, offering comprehensive assembly, testing and logistics services. Mov’NTec specialises in Li-Ion battery systems, energy management and electric motors for a variety of vehicles, ranging from scooters to farm equipment.
